The Masconomet Education Foundation (MEF) is an independent, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to funding initiatives to promote educational excellence and innovation within the Masconomet Regional School District. Our funding program provides money for initiatives that support innovation in the classroom and curriculum enrichment.

To submit a request for a grant, download a Grant Application form and submit according to the application guidelines.

Submissions are accepted throughout the school year.  Each submission will be reviewed by the MEF Board at the Board meeting following the submission (September through April). The Board will communicate its decision to the submitter. 

Once a grant has been awarded and implemented, the MEF requires the completion of the Grant Reporting Form. The submitter will highlight the project’s major accomplishments, any setbacks or challenges faced during the implementation process, and a budget recap.

Grant reporting is an important part of the grant process that helps MEF to fundraise and ensure grants are continually available to teachers each year. 

Reporting includes 

• Grant Reporting form
• A quality photograph of the students actively involved in the grant event or with the grant purchases
• A student impact statement. 

MEF can award volunteer hours to students for submitting photographs and student impact statements as a part of the grant reporting process.
