Teacher Grants Overview

---

Grant Deadline: November 15, 2026

(Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with our first round of reviews taking place after November 15)
Grant Max Amount: $1,000 for individual awards; up to $30,000 for targeted partnerships for larger initiatives

Every day at Masconomet, students are learning things that could shape what they do for the rest of their lives. Sometimes that starts with a great teacher. Sometimes it starts with a hands-on project, a new piece of technology, a field trip, or an opportunity that simply wouldn’t have been possible without extra support. That’s exactly why the Masconomet Education Foundation (MEF) exists.

WHAT WE FUND

• General Grants (up to $1,000): Teachers can apply directly for grants of up to $1,000 to fund classroom projects, materials, experiences, or enrichment activities. We also encourage teachers to partner with colleagues — whether across departments or grade levels — for larger collaborative projects.
• Targeted Parternships for Large Projects (up to $30,000): Do you have a larger project or initiative that needs more substantial funding? We’d love to hear about it. MEF is exploring partnerships with teachers and departments to pursue external grants and support bigger ideas beyond small grants. We would love to sit down with you and think through what’s possible.
